When you drive over Pine Creek Pass from Victor to Swan Valley, the northeast face of Stouts Mountain stands tall and inviting. Justin and I skied one of the nice chutes on Stouts northeast face today. We experienced great snow, a few good crashes, and as always a much needed work out. The skiable terrain on Stouts is unbelievable. Something for everyone, and not just one or two choices! I am excited and will go back time and time again.
Despite a very busy week, i was able to climb three days (setting and grading routes for the Citizens Comp at Sticks and Stones) and ski three days in a row. Not too bad, eh?!?
