Dean- You must have had a lot of Mammut obligations in Switzerland, and or the weather was not favorable... I was hoping to see you climbing some immaculate limestone walls! The best part of climbing in Idaho is that 15 peeps at the crag is a very busy day! ... some interesting looking "pockets" at the crux on Soul Power! The search is on for more limestone crags... I'm sure you've talked to Matt T. about recent findings. More routes on the way!
Marc -Thanks for the note! Switzerland was a flurry of busy-ness! Some good weather and some bad weather. Had several good climbing days with many international Mammut athletes, but do not have photos as were were climbing in and testing new climbing shoes and other various Mammut goodies. As much as i'd like to share with everyone the new goods from Mammut coming down the pipes, we'll just have to wait for 2012 to see them! Some photos were taken for marketing use starting next year though. It was really cool to see a big crew of people climbing my routes at the Cave.Psyched to see those routes getting some traffic. The pocket pulling on Soul Power is really good! You should come over and check out that route and many others in the Cave. It's pretty fun and i know Matt and I would be psyched to hang out with you for an east Idhao session! Limestone IS cool!
What an amazing start to a climbing season! I am super excited to get outdoors with this crew. Super motivating! -Heather
